EXERCISES 1
24 AUGUST 2021 (WEEK 1)
In the first week of learning design principles, our lecturer, Dr Charles, explained what was needed in our blog and asked a question:'What is design? . In my cognition, DESIGN is a piece of paper full of creators' imagination and creativity. Just as Dr Charles described the paper as a frame, we need to declare the relationship between the frame and the object, so Dr Charles gave us 15 minutes to find anything and come up with our name.

FEEDBACK FROM DR CHARLES
My Gestalt is not so clear because of the colour choice and also the handshake can't look clear, try to do it another way.
FINAL OUTCOME
This is my final update, as Dr Charles last time say my Figure 1.3 looks not so clear and the colour choice is not very good so I try another way and change it some,
- I pick it one of the photos of the earth on Pinterest and I take the colour of this example at colour adobe to make it nice.
- I make the handshake another way, unity.

FEEDBACK FROM DR CHARLES
Figure 1.4 is got showing contrast but it has too much white space so framing is important. This figure is excellent, I can straight hand it up but if need to change just only framing then better.
Figure 1.4 shows Friendship
This is my final update, as Dr Charles last time say my Figure 2.1 there is too much white space so I add a background in black and white and also add some stars. The star is at the star because figure 2.2 theme is friendship and the stars mean pure friendship and auspicious happiness.
REFLECTION
When I was doing the exercises, to be honest, I never thought of any ideas, although I understood Gestalt theory. When my classmates showed off their work, I was very excited after seeing it because I learned a lot of design things and many of those unbelievable ideas. After school, I have been immersed in thinking about ideas and looking for information. In a moment, my mind jumped out of many wild ideas. When I made it, although it was not my ideal type, at least I made it. I am in this class. Learned a lot.

Well done on your improvements!
