Introduction
Research Implementation - Draft Dissertation
This is the first class of the Design Research Dissertation after Mrs Jin
Chi briefed us about the first assignment, I started to do my Analysis and
Discussion because Mrs Jin Chi said this is the hard part for us so we need
to do this part first.
When I get feedback from Mrs Jin Chi, I start to correct the Analysis &
Discussion, and I also do another part of the Dissertation.

After that, I get feedback from Mrs Jin Chi, I follow the feedback and
started to do some corrections and add some important points.

When I submit the Draft Dissertation to google classroom, I get new
feedback from Mrs Jin Chi, so I do a correction and also finalise my work
ready to submit to Turnitin.

Week 2
- I need to add one more column after the theme on the right to indicate which secondary data I have collected or that I have updated any literature that can support my topic'
- I can find more articles that
- I got to find important data for doing my dissertation
- I need to add a background first as first-class say and then build it one by one
- Make sure that I got the important theme got to include in my discussion
- Make sure that my discussion is 2500 word

Week 4
- For 5.0 Research Discussion change it to Analysis & Discussion
- The analysis sentence needs to include the exact words that I found from my qualitative answer, which means the answer in their own words in the questionnaire. In the sentence (Among...), this whole word sentence after this sentence, I should put that after that I add on some of the respondent's replies, then put double quotation marks in two or three of their exact words because I want to show the evidence that what I say in that I highlight in yellow part. Come from the exact words that I understand come from my understanding of their qualitative answer. For the analysis, I need to add per cent of the people.
- For the citation must put it surname only, not the full name. For Alice is too general, I must put it in my surname. Every sentence about history need to add a citation, it is very important.
- In addition, remember the need to paraphrase, don't use back the same word and also the whole sentence must be in the third person (The researcher)
Week 5
- The sections have been divided into suitable headings that are relevant to my research problem
- For the red citation, after I review the whole page, I need to change the citation colour from red to black. In addition, the citation need name it in (NAME, YEAR)
- For 5.2, they change it to people, because we don't know who they are so I can say people(people did not pay much attention to the design sign of the packaging)
- In ancient times sentence, it is from a history packaging product sentence so this needed to add a citation, in addition, the citation much put at the front of the full stop. (However, due to the advancement ) this sentence can, move to the new paragraph and add the word in front of the (However) (In the context of the research) the reason for adding the new sentence is that I am talking about the history of the packaging, the actual purpose If I don't put that (in the context of this research) so my sentence will suddenly jump into talking about ancient China so before however, I need to explain that because this research revolves around Chinese for art paper cut design. I need to discuss a little bit about Chinese packaging.
- For the whole sentence need to check again, and make sure that the sentence is repeated decoupage change it to folk art paper-cut.
Week 6
- For the research Methodology, I have to write it in past tense and don't forget that because if I have already carried out the research.

What to include in Conclusion:
- Recap the research problem
- Recap research method
- Summarise discussion
- Indicate research limitations
- Suggest future research (design projects) that can be branched out from your research.- For the limitation can move it together with the conclusion- For the conclusion and abstract, I need the add more things such as research methodology, research findings and discussion
