Week 4
For this project, I will be in the same group as Lum Qian Tong, Emeline
Chung Jia Xuan, Henry Lim Chin Xian and Kenisha, our group name is Group 5
The Minion. I and my groupmate will be collaborating with students from The
School of Bioscience to create packaging for their product. The students from food science
presented their ideas to us on Friday. The group we are collaborating with
is doing Jacfruit Frozen Food, this packaging design is not only done for
The School of Bioscience, Kawan Food is our client.

Week 5
After they finish present their project and the information that they have given us, we started to do the packaging design. We open a meeting to discuss the design style and we get a conclusion is each other design their own design and then in the next meeting we vote for it.
For my design, I wanted to make a minimalist style and also mix it with a strong visual design. Below is my design:

When I have done with the design I send this design to my group and let them give feedback. They say the design is quite simple and the image for the Jackfruit no like a Jackfruit snack so need to change it.

On Friday afternoon, we open a meeting for voting on the design of the packaging.
In the conclusion, below is the conclusion packaging design that we chose.

Week 6
On Wednesday's class, I go to get feedback from Mr Shamsul and Mrs April.
Feedback from Mr Shamsul
Our Labelling format is wrong, he says he will send us an example of the labelling format and the colour. The design of the conclusion is good but the image is a bit pixeled and the information loss such as the weight of the product and the logo and the slogan.
Feedback from Mr April
Same as Mr Shamsul says the image is pixeled and needs to choose a good image in HD, she says no need to show a real image of the Jackfruit, we can find an image that looks like same as the Jackfruit snack.

After that, we open an again meeting and discuss a new design of the packaging and the material.

In conclusion, we will decide to work with two packaging primary HDPE material and secondary cardboard and the window will use PVC
