TASK 2A - KEY ARTWORK

For this exercise, we had to design a key piece of art as a logo. We will use our names or initials. The key artwork will then be used in Task 2B as collateral. We will use visual elements and graphic elements.

IDEATION

I decided to use SKY, which is my English name, to start this task. Mr Vinod said we should also design something based on our identity, my initial idea was to create something related to the exhibition

I said some of the signs were all about sketches to SKY, and then I was sifting which one would fit my next mission.

After I pick a design that I think is suitable for the identity to digitize, I pick the best logo design to continue the task. Then, I'll finalize my key artwork as a light blue blur and black blur.

The next thing is to work on my poster, an animated GIF and collaterals. The first thing I will design is my poster for the art exhibition.

Week 7

The "Sky Adventure" logo it's a local company, Mr Vinod says it's quite famous and then Mr Vinod say doesn't look race it looks almost Islamic, maybe I should make it like some sort of Islamic product or something 

The second logo Mr Vinod says that feel to this one's interesting and then the "y" Mr Vinod say is quite too long and he says can make it shorter 

Week 9

The approach is correct in that I use my key artwork as an element to lack a better word populate the poster with nothing wrong with that it's all fine but the way I present my key artwork is a bit big but it is acceptable

Mr Vinod says bother would be the way I treat the information that I have here, it seems to lack the imagination in that I don't seem to be integrating it well with the elements that I have so if I look at my typographical system exercise, I've learned many possible systems or ways to adapt information on a certain format, they don't have to conform to just being gridded all the time so looking at the slants and what not that I have there is a possibility for me to actually adapt that information within the space that I have here.

So that's the one-second thing that Mr Vinod think is there's a lot of green and a lot of black so maybe at least maybe the green shade that I have over here perhaps would give it an extra dimension right now it's looking a little as a result so Mr Vinod thinks that's something that I can do

Thirdly Mr Vinod thinks usage of making it so big this texture in the background in the front and bottom is not a particularly a good idea perhaps using it in a smaller slightly smaller way in the background would probably be more advisable and less in your face, that means less because I can see it's fighting with the logo with the mark.

Reflection

Experience 

Based on my experience, observations and findings, respectively.

To be honest, I am not satisfied with my work. I felt a little exhausted from other tasks, so I didn't really enjoy the process of making this. I put more effort into the task 2B part, hopefully, I don't screw up the whole project.

Observation

In Task 2, I learn to apply and modify different colors and typography in my work. From my poster designs, I have observed that different colors and typography do make for a different feeling ad.

Finding

Visual communication is very important in design and I have to work hard to learn and experience more different design elements and how to make the design work best.
