INSTRUCTIONS

EXERCISE 1:Quantify & visualize data

Week 1 / Introduction & Briefing

We were introduced to quantify and visualize data.

Quantify and visualize data:

Quantify (count) the selected items and arrange them in a visually appealing layout or chart. We gather elements (data), sort them by colour, pattern and so on arranging it visually and presenting it from less to more. We can also tell a narrative to explain it.

Option 1: Jar of stuff

Find a jar with similar contents like buttons, candies, coins etc. and sort the items accordingly.
Exercise 1: Quantifiable Information (10%)
Quantify raw data and visualize information as a photograph

Requirements The information must be presented as-is. You are required to arrange the objects with relevant indicators written out with pens to help you visualize the quantity and data. Take a picture of the final assembly and upload it into your Google Drive folder.

Option 2: Emergency bug out bag

A bug out bag is a survival kit filled with essentials that can help you get through a variety of emergency scenarios. Filled up a bag for your own self with essential items (items you can find with you at the moment! You don’t have to buy new ones!) you’d need to survive for at least 72 hours in cases like these.

FINAL OUTCOME

REFLECTION

This is my first class in the first week and my first time in physics class because I have been taking online classes since I went to university, so I couldn't adapt to it for a while. In this course I learned what is an infographic, in physics class, I learned how to typesetting. I hope my next course will be better and better.
