WEEK 10

In week 10, Mr Vinod is brief about our next task, that is Task 3B.

Notes:

• Sticker size: 512 × 512 px, RGB (creating for screen)
• Must include Taylor's logo 
• Choose an appropriate typeface
• Minor graphical elements
• Can't use different language
• May use 1 colour besides black and white - 1st part black and white; 2 part introduce 1 colour of the festival 
• Challenge is to ensure the type expression is readable and legible within that given space (zoom out to view sticker)
• Actionable part is the idea part (expression)
• If the expression is not there it's also fine but it's best to have

Task 3B: Type Design and Communication

I chose to design MERRY CHRISTMAS sticker.

This is my black and white draft. The first and second drafts are almost the same. The only difference is Taylor's logo. The first one I put the logo on the snowman and the second one I put it on put the I in CHRISTMAS instead.

Firstly, Mr Vinod say that my sticker is a good idea but my sticker had too many graphic element and then Mr Vinod suggest I take away the big graphic element and try to put it to the letters R and A.

REFLECTION

Experience

Finally, I have come to the final project. I have gradually become familiar with this topic. I also learned a lot about how to make stickers in this course. In this project, I chose to make Christmas stickers. I don’t know much about Christmas. Meaning, so I found a lot of information about Christmas.

In my observation, I found that I have to correct even a little mistake now, and turn the imperfection into perfection.

Look for

I find that my homework still needs improvement. I must work harder to record my progress, otherwise, I will lose points.
